 I just learned how to take these images and missed the challenge for Macro without flowers or bugs IV, so went for the Open Challenge, instead.

Taken with Canon Rebel XTi with 100mm macro lens and medium extension tube.

lots of fun learning how to do this wasn't it...and so interesting as with mine the end result (colors) were way different from what I started with - NOT that I tried to make them different they just were. Both of mine from Macro w/o Bugs/Insects and the Photo Tutorial were done with the same fabric background

interesting angle to give a new feel to an old trick. not crazy about borders but this one isn't bad. love the orange/green slice.
