Honestly don't expect this to do well but, you never know in free studies. I like it and wanted to share. This was taken in Idaho Falls Idaho from the greenbelt. Although it looks like a flash was used there was no added light at photo capture. The only light added was fill light in RAW post processing in Lightroom. Other universal adjustments in lightroom as well. Exported to jpg and added canvas in CS3 for the frame with a little gausian blur on the frame. Save for web and post.

I like how you framed this using the trees, a natural frame. So hard not to blow out the whites on long exposures, you did well here.

This looks like a beautiful place and the natural frame here is very nice. IMO, it looks a little over exposed on the water and under in other spots; it also needs better focus and little more contrast. Just suggestions. (voted earlier)

Great natural framing/border. So good that your own border doesn't help any.
Interesting to see that fall colors have already started there? Would've liked to see a little more detail in the whites of the water - they're on the border of blown and could've possibly been recovered in RAW?

Beautiful natural framing but I wish the exp was a bit faster to give the water more texture. But that's just me... Still a wonderfully composed photo...
