 This seems to be an annual event for me. My wife runs in the Canada Day 15k run. I take pictures while she does the run. I think I get the better part of that deal. :)

I personally like the low angle I got this shot from. I only wish I could have had a wider angle lens to get the entire pool

In Lightroom 2:
Leveled the image
Used the punch preset for vibrancy and clarity
Adjusted luminance and saturation of blue and green

Converted to black and white in Silver Efex Pro. Exported to JPG.

Post-challenge:
I am somewhat disappointed this didn't get a 6+ especially given the average vote by commenters. Still, I am happy that those that did stop to comment enjoyed it.

what an incredible sky and that dark cloud perfectly placed for you for this shot, I also like how the tree line pull the eye to the center

Wow! Seems like it's angry as hell and is about to unleash a terrible set of laws on the people :) The sky sure feels that way. Love the B/W conversion and post-processing.

I like the way the dark cloud seems to be settling over the dome. Gives the feeling of some heavy debate going on inside..
