 This was one of my choices for FS for July (minus the overlays & brushes of course). Overlay by cgino Thanks Colleen! I used some sky/cloud brushes and some texture brushes as well.

Really like the softness of the trees. The bird has a good 3d effect on top of it.

Looks like the bird is penetrating your daydream and calling you to make those dreams a reality - "come, fly away with me."

Ohh I like this .. I like that the bird is more realistic looking than the fantasy world it is escaping from .. how beautiful the trees .. the mountains are shimmery and beautiful hues of blues. Great choice of the film strip overlay too .. I hope I read more about the brushes and how to use them as the challenge goes on.

In a way, yours and my terrarium are similar. I've always loved that triptych film. This really works. I like the bird opposed to the tree with the diagonal line that connects them invisibly. YAY Welcome to the fun month!

I love how the bird seems to be flying out of the screen, very cool 3-D effect! What a beautiful scene. And, you're VERY welcome, I'm always thrilled to see folks use my overlays :-)
