Hey greetings from the Critique Club Angelis

I see i commented on this during the challenge ;)

Again i think it's a brave effort to go with something different - however if your after a big score one must be as obvious as one can be to cover all voters perception of the topic.

That aside, the image shows some nice action and is pretty well focused. The composition leaves me a little flat though, perhaps moving to the side a little would have shown the front end of the truck and this made it more 3D - as it is the truck is quite flat and dimensional.

The colors are subdued which gives it a nice hazy feeling.

Overall i would say that 4.39 is a bit lower than I think it should deserve in general -I would imaging you lost at least 1 whole point for it not being a human foot,

JP

That really is a big honker! Rather centered, background busy. Great exposure.

Great perspective; the truck looks so huge in relation to the people in the background.

thanks for a different take on 'feet'. as to this image, nice action shot that could be dress up a little with something like photoshop. i read somewhere that there isn't a single picture that can't be improved someway in post-processing. while i prefer doing as much as possible in camera, there is a lot to be said for mastering post-processing. even on a hazy afternoon, you can still make the colors pop, which, imho, is what would make this image better.

I'm sure a LOT of people are going to knock you for entering this photo, but I LOVE your creative cranium. It is a good shot, and an out of the box idea - 10

You know what grabs my eye - the power tower on the left. It really really needs to come out, and the half cropped white banner below it too.

Subject is well exposed, and meets the challenge.
