low resolution, out of focus and total lack of originality

It seems really pixelated

could it be a bridge gapping our two great nations?
but where's the border patrol?

A little too grainy

why is this so grainy???

Good lines and composition. Check out the Tutorial, "Using Photoshop to Prepare Photos for DPC Challenges," and pay special attention to the section on Quality while saving for the web. You have a lot of artifacts and very high compression that don't show this photograph to it's advantage. I hope this helps...

Your resolution is a bit low

Just saw this bridge on my way home on Sunday from NY! It's a great looking bridge and I almost asked my buddy to stop so I could take a shot or two. I'm thinking that this could use some rotation and maybe some focus, but I'm so happy to see a rendition of it so soon after having seen I'll be kind and think that you took it out the window of a moving car looking backwards and this is pretty good for that.

the picture is too out of focus, and the tilt of the frame doesn't seem intentional.

Did you make this with a mobile phone cam, is it a crop or did something go wrong with resizing?
08/11/2004 08:25:49 PM
I like this shot. But, it suffers from a lack of resolution - it looks like you enlarged it after shrinking it. Nice exposure/composition though.

Was the tilt intentional? I don't care for the tilt, adds a sense of discourse or unbalance.

Interesting subject but poor quality photo but this may be out of your control if your using a camera phone :)

This is interestingly composed, but blurry.

Seems to have a lot of dust, noise or maybe compression? The idea is good, nice try.

Sorry, I don't get it. The image is grainy and overexposed. The bit of red is mysterious and draws undue attention. The tipped horizon line seems to add nothing to the composition. The bridge is interesting an holds possibilities for a more successful image.

Grainy...but nice concept.

Take time to frame and compose next time. Try deep focus

The picture has a lot of digital noise included. Maybe some post-processing sharpening (USM) would help.
