I do like the idea, and overall, the execution is pretty sound. May I suggest the following two points:
1) Ensure that the blue pencil doesn't encroach on the right side of the image. A photo like this scream that it needs symmetry, and that slight misplacement really hurts
2) Again with the symmetry, the shadows in this photo nearly eliminate that, so I would suggest another light coming from the left. |

| Really great idea, but it's killing me that it's almost but not quite symmetrical, and that the points don't meet exactly over the line where the background colors meet. A bit OCD of me? Perhaps. |
