Grr - another favorite lands mid pack. What was the problem with the voters this time? Not enough feet for them? Lovely image, says so much, those little feet so far off the ground.

Voted eralier, retutning for copmments.

certainly firs the challenge. A very nice shot with motion. The only thing I would have done diffrent is to have laid on the ground and taken it of the feet as he swung above me. Otherwise, it is a very nice shot.

Good photo, but feet is not the central theme in it, it doesn't look like this challenge was had in mind when taking this photo. (I'm not saying it wasn't, just doesn't look like it, sorry)

Meets the challenge in that there are feet in there, but it would have been better had the feet been more of an obvious choice of subject matter.

This is a sweet composition of nostalgic childhood - catching that weightless moment in the swing with our feet free and flying - and the background of the white fence and trees and neat lawn are all in the same flavor, all the same theme. I like the sepia tone as well. I wish we could see the face just a bit better. 9

While there are feet in this shot, they really don't play a creative role. The main subject is obviously the boy on the swing and not his feet. Challenge aside, the shot is okay in terms of exposure and sharpness but the capture isn't very compelling. We can't really see his expression as his face is obscured by his hand and the chain. As an action shot it is very static. I don't get the feeling of joy and exhilaration of being on a swing.

Beautifully crisp and clear focus with excellent sepia toning. Contrast is very appealing and the highlights of the of the shoes help to focus attention on that part of the pic even though they are blurred by movement. DOF is excellent.

Lovely shot! I think it would have served the challenge more if he were barefooted
