Nice contrasting colours. Still not sure about the composition? Good job but I don't think its quite a winner.

even if the small boats in the foreground make a good contrast to the big one in the background, I still think this one would have made more impact having them cropped out, but that's just my 2 cents...

Oh very dpc! Sure you'll do well - great colours, great sense of depth, effective composition, gently witty. The smallest point, but that blue sky could do with a touch of cleaning up.

Nice blues in a very relaxing scene.

What an unusual image and very strong on use of vivid colours. Nice to see an interpretation of "vanishing point" that does use a point on the horizon but leaves the lines between foreground and vanishing point undrawn.

There are no leading lines for the vanishing point, this is just a shot of the horizon.

Very nice! Great color and composition, good job :)

nice ocean pic, are the peddal boats chasing the bigger boat :) overall I feel a calmness from the water, colours and the horizon I think the larger boat gives it a bit of mystery in the haze

The colors of the water are beautiful. I think the two main focal points are a bit too distant for my taste (in relation to each other and within the frame). While you have clearly captured the horizon and that "vanishing point", I still feel it is a bit weak as far as meeting the challenge. In my mind, I would expect to see more of something compelling my eye towards it or into it to clearly address the challenge. However, I do not base my scoring on this, but am hopefully just giving some helpful input from one person's perspective.

This photo should score high.

Very nicely done! I like the simplicity of this, the colors, composition... it just all comes together very well -- kudos! - 10

Mearly putting a shot with a horizon doesn't completely what a vanishing point is. You're missing the lines that must converge for it to happen. Otherwise an interesting shot.

Great capture. Very unique. I really like how the rafters stand out in the front and the ship in the background is starting to fade into the horizon.

subtle, but good.
Which means you probably get punished for it.

Abstract vision on challenge. I wish you were a little closer to the small boats. More color would have made this pop more. 7

The color in this is stunning! What a nice composition the way you have framed it. I don't know that it demonstrates the parallel lines converging at the horizon concept of the challenge--though the ship lends itself to that objective somewhat....

I don't think it meet the challenge requirements.

I love this kind of simple image. It says so much about the human experience.
