Good composition, but the lighting in this photo makes this food look less appealing than it actually is.

Now that is a proper dish of ribs. What time is lunch? JEM

Yummy!!
Good idea!
To make it look more tasteful, the light could have been set better. Using the flash gives all these bright reflections that result in a "greasy" look. Also the salad is too overexposed.

the lighting is really harsh.. take a look at a food magazine for a great example of what works here...

Nice concept. I think different lighting would have shown off the colors better. Good luck.. Cub

Looks delicious. What barbeque place do you work for? Good shot and nice cropping. The biggest is your coleslaw absorbed all your flash and blew itself out, maybe because of being on a white plate and black and white table. The table white yellowed real bad the further from the plate it goes. These aren't really bad problems just little details that keep from getting tops. 7 is all i can give. PTL

Yumm, but looking for a smoke ring on them ribs. (Not so much of a barbecue snob that I'd pass up good ribs no matter how they was fixed.) Oh yeah, the picture... I like it too. The condiments of the upper left corner are a tiny bit distracting. But good job getting the detail in the ribs and beans without washing out the salad. 8

Beautifully presented food! (I almost gave my photo a similar title, only referencing my own job.)
