A castle fortress that dominates the sky of Edinburgh, one of the most famous and picturesque castles in Scotland. I have always found it hard to capture this castle in the right light and angle, this image was perfect. The evening light was just what it needed to light up the colours of the castle stone work with the bare winter branches providing the perfect border to the scene.
