| Thanks for the remarks...although critical most of them, I think you missed the point! I signed up for DP Challenge while the challenge began. The rating for 'Miniature' was beginning. I actually did a nice little shot of miniature, and then realized it was Vanishing Point I should have been working on, so I debated about where I would find such an image and just kept coming up blank. Sitting at work, I thought of this one. A bit way out of the box, yes. I enjoyed doing the challenge though. Harsh as the comments may be, I know the reality behind my decision to post the photo. It was a good effort in my eyes and the terrible flash was on purpose! I'm still trying to figure out how to post a 'normal' capture of this shot...the one without the flash. My Neon shot is doing much better! And, I almost put up a CLOSED neon sign too! ;-) |

Don't be to concerned about the score. The challenge criteria is apart of the vote and some are very literal when voting.

| Cute pun, but the description of the challenge was pretty specific about what meaning to give "vanishing point." It was all about perspective. |

| The glare of the flash on the box doesn't really do this image justice. Also the harsh shadow of the finger on the box reduces the quality of the photo. |

| Flash is too too strong. Fried. :) Maybe you can try to cover it with some tissue, paper towel. Your focus is good and I think the idea is creative. |

| very good sharpness and crispness to the image, the details are amazing and not a grain of noise anywhere. could have used a bit of cropping to remove the unidentifiable background elements on the top and the right of the frame. Now back to the challenge at hand. its almsot like you are daring me to give you a low score with that title. For the technical merits of the photo i will give you a 7 |

| Cute idea.. no offense, but it doesn't look like you tried very hard. Get rid of that glare by using natural lighting rather than a flash and maybe position it more creatively. |

this is my first ever 1 I've given so I better explain myslef!
Whilst I appreciate the humor, I vote strictly on "meeting the challenge".
That, coupled with the fact that the photograph is poorly taken, is why I gave a 1,sorry.
I won't bother going into why the photograph is poor, I'm sure you know and if not, then I know a lot of other people will point this out for you. |
