| this speaks. I think it is the not quite overwhelming forest and the almost abrupt lapping of the lake. |

There is beauty and peace in this capture. and a fine control of focus and saturation.
But to me the rocks on the shore and the house have a soft focus which should not be there. The house should be in Sharp bold focus to punch it out in the picture.
The detail and movement in the trees is great, and lift the picture. |

| great detail in the greens. did you know that human beings can see the most detail in green colors? the most differentiation? works well against the blue. and that house- awesome lake view giant windows! good shot. nice to see it from the water looking in... |

The photo only gives half of what the amazing view really is in my opinion. The photo is only foreground (the half I am talking about). I would love to see where those trees lead up to. Skies with fluffy white clouds or extremely blue skies?
This just seems a bit flat to me without something else. "
One thing I do however like about this photo is this... The building stands out even though the house is part green which normally would blend itself with the trees. Did a good job of bringing that out! |
