 This shot taken from across I-40 from the Nashville airport. I liked the combination of two suggested vanishing points: one from the runway and one from the plane. The only editing I did was to crop out some buildings in the foreground.

D'you know - I was going to shoot a plane at night myself someday soon, then I saw this! Excellent stuff. I love the pulses of landing lights punctuating its tracks. Very clear and well exposed.

I think the only improvement would be to either have shot it dead centre of the frame or more offset so that the streaks were more dynamically arranged.

The most interesting picture I've ever seen of an airplane landing. I don't know how well you'll do in the contest, but the picture is great!

I like how the blinking lights (or whatever they are) make it look like tiny beads on a necklace. Clever idea, well done.

Now THAT is pretty cool! I assume this is a long exposure of a jet taking off. It almost looks like the lit-up span of a bridge or something. What a slick effect! I don't know if enough people will think this is as cool as I do for it to earn a ribbon, but it's a 10 in my book!

I can't tell what this is. The perspective doesn't seem to give a vanishing point, the lines are leading my eye up rather than back into the frame. Are these bridge cables or something?
