 I originally posted another photo for this challenge of the same subject, but I wasn't happy with the final result, so I redid it again, and I'm really glad I did. Hopefully this photo will show the intricacy of the different layers of sand, as well as showing off the colours without overdoing it.

The photo was cropped, and only the contrast and saturation were corrected to my liking. As I did this on my desk, I placed a random piece of bubble wrap in the background to disguise anything lurking back there...

The bottle is from Cornwall, UK, and it's actually in a light bulb shape. My friend put the sand in there, layer by layer herself.
