I found this potted cactus at a local nursery and thought it had interesting geometric shapes. I'm sure there will be many beautiful color flower shots so I'm not sure how this will score. I modified contrast, color and sharpness in photoshop elements.

I like this picture but I think that it would have alot more impact if you left the suculents (spelling) green and desaturated the rest. Good luck!

Very interesting and very excellent gray tones and details. I think I would like to see this still framed as a sqare but add more space on the right side and bottom to show every bit of the petals. I wouldn't know unless I saw it , though. Great job.

Not sure about the color of this, it seems flat, definately needs more contrast and tonal range

cool shot. i would have liked to see vivid colours for contrast between the plants and the rocks. also, the symmetry of the image is broken by the cut-off right side. overall, the image shot from above is rather striking, and the effects of the plants on the rocks is very nice. well done.

Nice use of top down to use circle to add composition. Stark nature of pot rim contrasts beautifully with intricate shapes and textures of the plant and rocks.
