 I took a similar photo a while ago, and I noticed the snail was still there, so took one again! I played around with cropping, colours and contrast, and then decided it looked better in grayscale. Hopefully you'll be able to see that the snail's right next to a corner. I really like this shot - hope u do too!! ;o)

what makes this stand out is whatever it is the snail is attached to, similar gracefully curved surface.

I like the simplicity of this, the composition, the emphasis on textures. The light is gentle, but none of it goes to waste.
