The result of a wasp sting on my little finger the day before our hols finished. Next day my hand was swollen and the finger was not looking good. Spoke to the pharmacist who said it was infected and to see a doctor. I was then taking 2000mg of antibiotics a day. It cleared up after a week but I still have some numbness in the finger. The bruised area is where the stinger was.
What I find odd is that I have travelled all over, in countries where there are loads of nasty bugs/insects etc and have only been bitten by mosquitos!
