Completely real. :)

I wasn't shooting for the fool the viewer challenge. I was actually shooting for another challenge, but I saw these terns diving straight down into the water!!



The entry shot is actually the tern emerging from the water after the dive.

Not a great score, but I think it's a fun capture. :)

The wing on the right looks super processed. I am leaning toward the bird was PS'ed in.

I've seen this many times in nature, so I guessing it is REAL. Although I know it is extremely hard to capture this moment.

I don't think the bird would be that much beneath the water if it would have been a genuine photograph. So I say: manipulated

May be real, but feels off - sharp water, blurred wings.

I believe this is a digital composite. I can see slight reflection of the splash on the left side under the wing, but I don't see a reflection of the bird's wing! The resolution/clarity of the water and bird's wings also seems to be slightly different. Still, it's pretty convincing.

Not real. Edges of wings are too sharp and the focus is on gulls head and waterdrops so the wings should be in focus as well.

Okay if this is real then it has been cropped way to heavy causing the muting on the wings.

pretty cool image, the editing makes it tough to tell real or fake the look of the wings makes me lean towards fake, nice image either way
