I am not an accomplished photographer. I have a very limited imagination, no studio, no light tent, and - get ths - no wine. That's right, no wine. I do have cheap wineglasses which show their cheap flaws when you try to photograph them. But still, we're back to the no imagination part.
So Saturday, I'm trimming the roses in my front yard, and pulling the petals to put in a dish in the house (they smell wonderful!) when I noticed they are the color of a nice rosé wine. Ah ha! Idea! I'll put rose petals in wine glass and it'll be "rosé"! Brilliant!
So I get one of my cheap wine glasses, fill it with petals, stick it on a table in the back bedroom that gets lovely evening light... and my cat decides to come see what I'm up to. So here's my wine glass shot... Complete with an unexpected model, no actual wine (the challenge does specify wine glasses, mind you!) and no special lighting - just what I had on hand (sunlight through the blinds.
All this so I can maintain the structural support position on my WPL team. :-) |

| ahhh boo. Thought this would finish a little higher. I thought this was cute. Great timing with kitty. Mine would have knocked the glass over quite quickly. Loved the spots of light too. |

| I really liked this shot a lot. Yes, I got it. You don't drink wine. Perhaps you shall start with getting plain, good glasses. The rest will come. Meanwhile, the cat is doing the right thing. I thought that you got a special glass to balance the black spots of the cat! |
