 Editing: Crop, clone a couple of blurred leaves, levels, select sky - more levels only on sky, increase red saturation small amount, neat image, resize, more levels, sharpen with neat image, burn some red on apples.

Taken when my husband and I drove up to Salida to go out to eat. We have a favorite restaurant there. This apple tree was just alongside the road near town. It was really heavy with apples.

Great lighting on these apples - allows the beauty of their soft gentle colors to enhance this photo. Nice job.

I really love this, it just stands out in this crowd of wonderful entries. Focus and compositions are great. Wondering if the uneven backround color was intentional. Wonderful work in any case.

They are like ours in the backyard. . . .need to be sprayed. Very nice clean, crisp shot. BOL
Question: Was this taken outside? If so, how did you manage to get such a soft and even shaded background? (I almost suspect photoshop because there are two or three small areas at the bottom that seem lighter.) Pray tell.
