|This image evolved from falling from an apple tree with the "blurry figure" ready to catch me to several other settings/stories and finally to this idea. I desperately want to squish the middle to bring the two subjects closer to one another to give the image a more cohesive focus, but, alas, it doesn't seem like it's allowed. The squished version had been well-received on facebook though. The only negative about the squished version is that it takes away a lot of the cool fence in the background.
This location is absolutely gorgeous. The wooden fence is perfectly aged, the mountains in the background are perfect for bokeh (not so great for landscapes due to telephone lines), the quaint driveway leads to an old barn, and behind the girl is a row of giant round bales of hay. I tried to get them in the shot too, but it didn't quite work. Many thanks to the man who gave me permission to shoot on his property.

I'm not sure everyone was quite able to make out the figure in the foreground. He's holding a bouquet of flowers.
Autumn vs Spring is in the scenery as well as in the emotions of the two people. The intended story is that she's not happy with the relationship and thinks the relationship is dying, so she's leaving it behind. He doesn't get it (or doesn't want to get it) and is trying to revive the life in the relationship with some flowers.
