A tiny (albeit private) Oscar moment:
Thanks to all who left such wonderful comments.
Many "posthumous" nods from Rauchemberg whose bird, a bit dustier, continues to make us think.
Thanks Don for the blue and your dedication to the site and the public at large

I agree with the Dead Guy: this is also my choice for Best in Show.

Motivational posters tend to assume a good measure of mindlessness in the beholder, as nearly all of the most popular entries in this challenge attest. You broke the mould, as your 97/111 placing attests. Congratulations.

The first thought that came into my mind was that, for it to turn out well [I'm a positive kind of guy] the bloke probably needed to grab the eagle on the canvas with both hands round the eagle's throat, thereby also suffocating the menacing one. So you definitely got me involved with the story. Thanks.

A nitpick because it had yet to land, but you knew better than to listen to a nitpick. They tend to spoil images IMO. ;)

Wow. Intense. Uncontrolled rage or well controlled rage. The turmoil is palpable. Color scheme contributes to the turmoil, in part because I'm not certain of the motivation for the choices. Mocking, yet the bold text either ends, or starts, in a calm beige. Spiraling to red rage, or the result of personal elevation, rising above the rage. My apologies for not voting.

I favoured it.

There is something perversely artistic about this image. What a vision.
