I've always been very fond of botanical photos, but I wanted to do something a little different from my usual flower sorts; I had a rather abstract one of a red rose that I loved, but this one is still my pick, I think, for the amount of colour and detail. I'm not sure what others will think of it, but I really like it; it feels a tad abstract, but is still obviously a leaf.
Editing: Resized, cropped a little, hue/saturation, curves, levels, sharpening, unsharp mask, cloned out some fuzz and some background distractions, a little manual blurring on the background, and very light Neat Image.
