Shutter: 1/25 to 5 sec

Date Uploaded: Oct 16, 2011

 HDR from 6 exposures, didn't merge and tonemap very well, so I ran Nik Efex Glamour Glow followed by Nik Efex Lowkey filter. Then lots of dodging/burning in various modes, resize, sharpen, save for web.

Oh this is fabulous. Perfect title too. That glow suits it so well. Certainly straight out of A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Beautiful image.

One would almost expect elves or some other mystical creature to suddenly appear from behind the trees. I have no idea as to how you managed to capture this haze, but it does add immensely to the overall character of the image.

Beautiful serenity. I'm sure you have had a number of comments about the over-processing of this photo. I think it almost gets to the point of adding a painted effect, which is kind of cool in its own right.

Very interesting processing...I'm guessing this is Simplify? Normally, I wouldn't think it would work well, but it really makes this image stand out and fits the title perfectly.

I feel like the softness applied to this photo is a bit distracting. Otherwise, it's a nice scene. I wouldn't mind visiting this location.
