| One of my top two and a 10 in my book. It stands out in this competition as very different subject and composition. A great change from the standard flower shots. I can't explain the whys but this shot just draws my interest. I kept going back to it. Great job! |

| Very neat shot. the background is a little distracting. If you tried putting your a cardboard as your background, that might have helped it. Or rather get the green color out be selective desaturation. |

| Really nice vivid and bright colors. Color contrast is very good, as well as, DOF. A good picture depicting botony. |

| Nice use of DOF to isolate your subject. I wish the bottom of the left-most pod were in the picture - the pod is the main subject being the one in sharp focus, but having in go off the bottom leads the eye away from the picture before you get a chance to look at the rest of the image, |

| Are those jelly beans? Seriously, I like the photo. the contrast of red and green increases the vibrancy of the picture. It feels unbalanced to me, like it's going to fall over on the left. A more balanced composition whould have helped for me. |

| Why not just focus on the pods to the left?! The rest make it too busy. |
