Wow fantastic focus here! The flower just pops out ther eat you. Only thing I'm not to sure of in the photo is the dark corner. My eye was pulled from the fantastic flower to the "black hole" of nothing so to speak. You might want to try cropping it just slightly different. In a whole though this is a fantastic entry. Nice work.

this is gorgeous! love the form, the detail, the toning, the composition! soft, yet dynamic, yet almost abstract!

the soft toning of these leaves really work well (unlike most others B&W/toned images in this challenge). great work.

why not leave the color - this is somewhat neither BW nor pastel - I like the overall composition though

This is gorgeous! It works so well as a black and white! You have great detail throughout! And the lighting is wonderful! Great job!

interesting shot - since it's a repeating patter - i might try getting in closer to get more of the petals textures, and maybe un-busy it a tad - the toning is good

good luck

An excellent specimen - well rendered. I'd crop quite a bit from the bottom so the the edge is just below the small whitest leaf. To me, that's a much stronger composition. As is - it's still an excellent submission.

Exceptional focus. Contrast and levels are terrific. The black area to the left detracts from a top 10 entry IMO. I am wondering what a full color image would have looked like. Usually desaturating beautifully colored flowers feels wrong to me, but in this case, I think it increased the drama of the picture. Good job.
