 I normally yell at my cat to get out of the street and had to coax him for a long time to come into the street for this shot.

fill flash could have helped you avoid using selection tool for areas that were much darker than background. artifacts exist around front legs, otherwise clever title/subject

I like the shot itself, but something about the way it is processed created unappealling sharp halos around all the objects.
