Witty and absorbing. An uncompromising sort of audacity in refusing to give this a conventional frame of human reference, such as an encroaching footprint or shadow or even a bit of human detritus like a cigarette butt or discarded wrapper. It's all the better for that restraint. I voted this in my top three but neglected to comment because I was just reaching for the reins after a break from DPC. I'm resuscitating the ancient and dishonorable Award of The Thumb. Thank you.

I appreciate what you are trying to do. The symmetry of the grid against the organic shapes of the web. However, it's a bit grainy and the focus is difficult to see. Perhaps take the same shot from an interesting angle to get more DOF. |
