The subject matter here is superb!
Lighting is great and had this been shot at a little lower of angle,
and been just a bit sharper, it would have punched to the top!
A well-deserved ((7)).

| I'd never eat that mushroom. It looks radioactive. Seriously, it's a nice photo which I like a lot. It could be a bit busy around the edges but the desaturation helps some. I am sure getting sharp contrast between mushroom and grean stuff in background was hard. But in the end, I can't quite get past the radio active color of the mushroom. |

| Great specimem - taken in nice flat lighting. Colors are great - even the decaying leaves. I'd feel a bit better about it if the mushroom were more off centered - move it to the right in the frame. |
