| Nice landscape, poor challenge concept. Your score is riding entirely on the strength of the green color and pretty composition. While two-thirds of your image is plant life (thus preventing any 1 votes), Nelzie nailed it- it's not obvious which plant is the focus of study. Your best bet here might have been to literally spell it out in the title: "Water Chestnuts Invade the River," or "Foreign Invader Takes Over the River." |

This is a nice landscape photo. I would play with the blue levels a bit to bring the sky a more attractive blue tone. I like the vibrancy of the green as well. This is a decent landscape shot that I could see in a magazine, book and possibly hanging in someone's home.
Unfortunately, I am unable to see what plant life is the primary subject of this image, which takes it out of the context of the challenge. Is it the tree that is cut off on the right and top of the image? Is it the grass? The bushes?
Because of the lack of a clear central subject, such as a single type of plant clearly dominating the image, like a field of the same type of flower or plant shot tight enough to exclude most everything else from the image, I am unable to score this image very high. |

| I think a lower point of view would help to emphsize the fence more as a subject, thus creating a stronger image. Great saturation - not too much, yet visually striking colors. |

| Nice pastoral image. Good colors. Diffused lighting softens the image nicely. It would not have worked in full sun. |
