What happened here? This is lovely! Got marked down by the literal voters for not being botanical enough?? |

I like this. Great lighting. It stands out in a crowd. |

So simple yet so elegant! Overall this is a very good shot. I'm no expert but it seems that the lightening is not quite correct. I'm not sure why but the shadows seems off? Maybe focus? Oh well, maybe it is me. I do like the shot though. Good job. |

Light on the tomato quite appealing, white/grey blur of cloth quite strong compositionally here, though your positioning of eleents within your chosen crop is a little odd - that vertical grey area image left is strongly placed, and draws the eye quite strongly for a figurative image. It's also prettty small, which hides a great deal of detail for me. |

I like the simplicity of the white and the tomato. I like the deepening red in the shadow side of the tomato. I wish it were sharper, and I think a bit more white around the tomato would frame it better, perhaps the folds would be either more curving to mimic the shape of the tomato, or more angular to contrat with it. |

The tomatoe part of the image is fine(better than fine, actually) but diminished by the rest of the image. |

I like to soft focus and lighting. Not the most amazing subject, but it's obvious you know how to handle a camera. Nice work. |

what is the significance of white on the left here? the tomato looks great with the green too but the white on the left takes away from the image and the "botany" aspect in my opinion. |

Hmmmmm... this pic actually seems kind of sad. Like the tomato feels low and is sitting still, looking toward the light. Kind of strange... never thought I would pull an emotion from a picture of a tomato! |
