Hmm, some light humor. A" knee jerk funny." I'm de-lighted. A new twist on lights.
It's all ok, just kidding about your joke. |

I don't usually like puns, but this is cute. If you could have found a way to have the lights on and the background darkened, this coulda been a 9 or 10. |

I rated this a "1" because I was looking for neon as a color - not as a play on words. Cute thought, but I don't think it fits at all. Just my opinion. |

nice word game idea but the composition is too disparate: the fjeans abric and the floor compete too strongly against the bulbs |

:-)))
Maybe the bulbs should have been vertical and the whole thing back lit . |

The light is a bit harsh, and the shadow to the upper left is a little distracting, but otherwise a great photo. You've got the focus on the lights, and the shallow DOF has the denim just out of focus, really drawing the eye to the glass work.
I might have been tempted to remove the writing from the top of the standard bulb though, as the 'double text' look from the shadow makes it look a little out of focus in that area.
I feel that the picture is slightly 'top heavy' though, possibly a lighter dennim to lighten the top of the frame, or a even a naked knee, which would of course allowed you to enter in two challenges for the price of one. Maybe a white sheet of paper just out of frame on the left to give some fill lighting to the shadows would have worked as well.
I got a giggle out of this, so it deserves a long comment :-). a solid 8. |

Didn't "literally" fit the challenge (florescent light on the right),
but do give you credit for your imgaination, wit & title.
Funny one! ((5)) |

Extra points for funny! As a photo, I think that your model wearing shorts would have gotten the idea of "knee" across better - I'm not sure I would have got it the way it is without the title. |

Lovely and crisp, excellently cheeky title, would've been a ten if the jeans were blue. 9 |

Well, if nothing else, you and I think somewhat alike... I was contemplating a shot of someone purchasing a knee for the botany ("bought-a-knee") challenge :) UPDATE... and now that I'm voting on the Botany challenge, I see someone else (you?) had THAT same idea! |

Great concept, it;s just unfortunate that the shot isn't perfectly in focus. The lighting seems a bit off as well. The world needs more people that think outside the box like this.
I wish I could tell you how to fix up this shot, if you were looking to reshoot it. All I know is that there would be a bunch of experimenting. |
