 I have taken this photo on the outskirts of Dubai. Had been driving out of town, trying to look for interesting subjects, and had seen the sign for Camel Market. Had immediately took the road going towards that direction. I was on my way out of there already back in my car when i saw this scene. Took my last clicks and realized afterwards this was the best one I have from there.

Edited via Picasa to turn this to Sepia. Adjustments done in Photoshop using stamp clone. Further edits done in Lightroom for clarity, vibrance, contrast.

A bit unbalanced, too much sand, too little sky above the tree. Could you have taken one of them walking away from the tree? Perhaps stronger "Journey" message. Good image nonetheless.

the composition is not quite right, imho, too much even space around the edges, but otherwise a great image.
