 Beach in Gearhart, Oregon at low tide. Study of texture.

I'd forgotten that I'd placed that image in my favorites and wasn't thinking of it when I took my shot. But maybe it was a subconscious inspiration for me when I was at the beach that day.

I really like these natural mini-dunes and I've never managed to get a good shot of them yet. This is very well composed with plenty of interest.

It may be good to try 'pushing it' using levels and channel mixer to increase the intensity of the forms. Try doing something dramatic then fading the opacity with the 'overlay' blend mode - it good look even better.
