 "And now was acknowledged the presence of the Red Death. He had come like a thief in the night. And one by one dropped the revellers in the blood-bedewed halls of their revel, and died each in the despairing posture of his fall. And the life of the ebony clock went out with that of the last of the gay. And the flames of the tripods expired. And Darkness and Decay and the Red Death held illimitable dominion over all."

Although the makeup design could have been more solid, the concept of having a more organic looking red death was important for this interpretation. Death is a natural part of life and my bearded and feathered model was supposed to give an air of earthiness. Dunno if I really achieved it this time, though.

Upon my true face revealed
Foolish Revelers fates are sealed
Silent is my scream for I need no voice
Grave tidings is the scarlet 'gift' I foist

Now the short review without the poetic writing;-) Excellent lighting, mood, and capture - it is topnotch composition one that I can see on the front cover of a book on Poe or a playbill advertising the play.
