The saturation is up way too high, the colours no longer look natural. That blue dot is also really distracting unfortunately. If you hadn't bumped the blue saturation up to full, it may not have been so eye-grabbing; the ability to alter saturation is a helpful tool and could have enhanced what was probably a pleasant shade of purple, whereas over-use of the tool has overpowered the subject. Less is more. :-) |

Interesting idea, perhaps more of a melody of color than a symphony, given the prevalent hue. I am not necessarily a manic with focus when soften serves a purpose, however in this case I find that the out of focus at the extremities of the flower detracts for the image, particularly because the blur is very digital in look. Perhaps, a bit more depth of field, if achievable, would have improved the image. I am not 100% sure this framing actually works. Possibly, having lines and flower to curve back into the frame would have helped. |

lovely picture and colour but I don't see the ratio. And I've give the same comment on so many photos in this challenge, maybe my understanding of the ratio is wrong. No vote |
