Awesome location on a small island, a 2 and a half hour boat ride from Key West. This is Fort Jefferson; an abandoned early 19th century fort, now home to daily tour boats and water planes with mediocre snorkeling on the Garden Key in the Dry Tortugas, halfway between Florida and Cuba.

5 exposures, merged and tone mapped in Photomatix, perspective fixed in ACDSee Pro, resized and sharpened. Unfortunately, I've made a bad habit of not taking these in aperture priority mode.

I admire the HDR processing in this image very much. Excellent detail in the interior shadows, yet perfect exposure in the white clouds (sun reflectors). You've managed to keep the colors natural looking. Also, it's an interesting subject... well composed.

Ah great shot and HDR. To my mind this is textbook HDR and photography.
