The reason I didn't vote higher on this image is due to the following things I noticed:
1. slightly out of focus
2. Lighting is extremely off
3. You title really doesn't make me see into anyone's soul
4. editing on this photo seems low or very little. Not that it should be edited to death but something could have been done to give it a little more push. |

| I'm not too keen on the lighting here. seems like you are pointing out the forehead as the defining feature. |

The window's... what?
What belongs to the window? I'm so confused.
But... I like the image. The forehead could be a bit darker ... even during post processing... to highlight the eyes even more... But, I like the "smile" in them. |
