Keep coming back to this one. Obviously different, and will beat me to the Brown. I happen to find this fascinating. It provided a pathway to ponder vision; the shades, from black to white, forming shapes, driving thought, and encouraging imagination. A truly enjoyable experience. Cheers.

Too abstract for the challenge for me. |

What is this marvel? It is meaningless AND profound. It is grainy and 3-d and dimensional and throbbing. |

Nice take on the eyes, love the patchwork effect. |

Like a charcoal drawing - beautifully integrated portrait in this exercise but the expression remains somehow random, due to the medium. I like a lot the contour of the head. I would have cropped half of the face (the man's right eye) and left the right side with the background.
In any case, I find this shot like a breath of fresh air in this challenge. |

This is almost like a photocopy of another low quality photocopy; insanely noisy, contrast is too dark, no point of focus, seemingly no real thought to composition and the apparent point of interest isn't even really legible. I can just about make out a face but the quality of this image is so low I feel I can't give higher than the minimum vote, sorry. |

Really good. The verticals and soft contrast points work beautifully. |

This looks like a pen and ink drawing that was dropped in water. I like the way the tones transition from one another. |

There are a few dark spots that seem to compete for my attention in trying to focus on the eyes. Even given the artistic approach I want to be drawn to the feature in question. |
