| Lovely detail in the petals. Feel like there's too much of the hand and vase in the image though...would rather the magnifying glass and flowers dominate the frame. Top 10 though! |

| Nice take on a classic subject! Lighting, sharpness, DOF all very well controlled and demonstrate a high degree of skill. The magnifying glass and hand do a lot to tie the photo directly to the challenge (which also sets this photo apart, since it seems many people--including me--interpreted the challenge as "take a picture of a plant"). |

| The heightened textures on the hand and petals grab my attention....so does your idea....so does the loop.....so does the title....so does the vase....finally a black background that makes some sense.... cool shot! |
