The reason I didn't vote higher on this image is due to the following things I noticed:

1. harsh lighting
2. Angle of the photo to camera
3. Not much light in the eyes
4. background
5. crop

Certainly meets the challenge and Zack has beautiful hair (wonder if a boy wants to hear that LOL) Too bad the lighting is so harsh.

And it reflects in his face. Shining brightly, lovely defining feature.

overexposed on the face in places,, technically a weird choice of angle and location to portray his ginger hair.. could have been done many ways far better.

Interesting angle and framing. Works well with a quite angular face. The light is great in creating highlights on his hair, but perhaps also causes him to squint a bit too much. In a sense this might be good, as the eyes do not compete with the hair for attention. Some fill light on the left could have made for a more even toning. Good image.

I can't see this having been taken under a yellow street light or anything since it's clearly daylight, so I think you've maybe bumped the yellow saturation up majorly to highlight the colour of his hair? Unfortunately it's also caused a weirdo yellow light on his nose and a few other patches on his face, which is really distracting. Great focus on the hair but the odd colouring kinda spoils the image for me.

Wrong type of light to shoot in, or wrong angle.
