Why do I think of New England? Mass? Cape Cod?

(My only regret is that there is no wine, only glasses of water - perhaps it's a preparation for Lent ...)

| Well done. I guess it could look a bit busy, but the focus is nicely soft in spots. |

| photo is too busy. unfortunately, you also have taken a picture "AT" the window and have not compensated for the disparity in light in the forground items - while in focus and perfectly viewable, the forground items are less prominent in the picture because of the very harsh direct window light. |

| Looks like a nice setting, would've liked to see it cropped out further to see more; the light is a bit flat but it's not too bad since the glow from the lamp flame is there. Good DOF. I'm not sure this quite puts me in mind of family, a cosy restaurant certainly though, I suppose you could maybe equate that to a family meal. |

| Good idea -- the preparation certainly takes way longer than the feast and should be acknowledged, too :) Though it does convey that idea, the image is too cluttered for my taste and I'm not crazy about the "importance" of the window in the composition. |
