What an emotional photograph. I like the concept but to me it is a little to bright for the context. I would like to see a little more shadowing and softening of her body. This is simply my novice opinion.

Very straightforward and has a raw feel to it that adds to the emotional impact. High key works well.

Alone and ??? her emotion comes out, not sure if shame or sadness. Good capture...

Interesting pose and use of high-key, but the noisy texture and lack of sharpness doesn't work for me

a tad soft and whites are blown out

More focus?

very expressive pose. Not too sure about the downward angle.

A little blurry and over exposed, but the composition has alot of potential

Very charming and very well posed. I would have prefered a tad more definition on top of the models shoulders. Here the backlight competes with the front light. Outside of this, this remains a very good study.

i think that the lighting coming from behind her shoulders is too much as it washes out the shoulders, which interferes with the emotion of the image. Otherwise I like the bw work in the high(er) key area.

very badly focused - not sure if that was intended or not, if it was I don't really see the need for it. A bit too high-key for the subject here. I would expect it to be darker for a photo entitled alone.

The floor was a bad choice, it's pure white at the back and dark at the front with no real detail.

I would suggest a reshoot that involved a better location like an old hut or crouched against the bottom of a wall / chair as in real life. Having her floating nowhere is a bit odd.

The pose and model are great though -as is the message.

I really like this photo. Nice feel to it. Gets my high vote of 10. Good luck.

Lees light would have conveyed the title better. Still a good shot. The model certianly has the pose down. 7

Subject appears to be a little too centered and filling up the screen to be alone. She certainly seems sad...perhaps if there were more negative space surrounding her, such as her being alone in the corner of a bigger room, it would help convey the sense of 'alone' a little better? Just a suggestion.

This is absolutely beautiful, as you must know. There is a bit of harsh lighting, but it works overall. For some reason, something seems a bit strange to me as far as the pose goes, but I am probably way off in that and can't really identfiy it.

too blurry for my taste

overexposed, not sharp... a7

Your model looks to be too timid to be in the shot. Better to have had her hair cover her face vs. the hand. This pic looks like she didn't really want to be there.
