Black-tailed deer flees to the safety of the wilderness. An unconfined wild animal may be the epitome of freedom. I present this as a metaphorical concept portraying the freedom in America.

Deer bounce or leap from spot to spot as they flee. The adaptation keeps the pursuing m.lion, or other predator, from taking aim and grabbing a hind quarter.

This was actually taken with the motion blur challenge in mind. It's a panning shot. Just not enough blur for that challenge, but it works (for me) for the freedom challenge.
