 a bunch of houses closed down for the winter, and they created a very interesting subject with all their boarded windows... Taken with Bear_Music's (roberts) 5d. Editing only included cloning out some wires and upping the contrast several times....

Well, the image is really wonderful, but I gave it a not very good vote because the challenge was After Man... Robert surely is a man :)

This reminds me of a scene in "Inception" for some reason. I like the tonal range.

It surely is a memorable image; I thought immediately of the Irish famine. Probably because of the awful loneliness of the still determined survivor.
