this is by far the best shot in the challenge, in my opinion it far surpasses the sterile compositions of the ribbon winners.The shot is incredibly moving and hits you with'naked'emotion portrayed in the bw composition. Congratulations man,if this is a self portrait you have got a lot of courage to let the world in to your 'naked thoughts' well done.

The first thing I thought when I saw this was "Bond, James Bond." This should have done much better than it did. I'm proud to add this to my favorites (it's an astounding image and I get to prove that I am completely secure in my heterosexuality)

very nice light effects, good strong contrast matching the dark haired male, good expression. edit : coming back after full voting this image moves up, the more I see it the more I like it, great graphic quality.

interesting composition, I feel the pic would do well advertising a mans posh aftershave, I mean that as a compliment! an interesting looking model, looks like an actor

your model has the face of a classic actor from the 40s. Pose is a bit odd, but overall I like the expression on his face and the strange wall he's supporting himself with.

With the patterns of light it becomes really interesting and I as a viewer indeed get the feeling of 'thoughts'. I like the classic look of the photo.

This is an excellent photo. The desaturation adds intense emotional impact. Composition is perfect. Focus and DOF are perfect. Lighting is very vry good. (10)

This is a great image. I love the unusual pattern of the light on the wall. His crouched pose is intriguing. I like that he isn't looking directly at the camera, it makes it feel like he doesn't know "we" are there. Good choice of black and white too.

Quality seems off - a little pixelated if you like.

Lighting is interesting as is the pose. skin ones seem a little dirty to me, but that could be the high contrast and slight grain.

Not a bad photo, but something lacking.

This is really interesting, but strangely enough, the nudity is not an important element of the theme to me here. I like the crazy lighting and the contrast

This connects on an emotional level. What is he doing, thinking about, day dreaming? The white-lined lighting adds an excellent bit of mystery.

Wow, a powerful composition. The BW and shadow-play almost suggest a 1950's movie still (Rock Hudson?) A wonderful portrait.
