I never actually came up with a good four idea and didn't really have time for shooting. I found this guy outside when I was raking the walkway. It's one of the largest ones I've ever seen around here so I had to take its picture. Didn't waste a lot of time perfecting the lighting and it shows.

Definitely have to send this to a friend of mine after the voting! Can you get the same model for the B+W challenge? Obviously cooperative, and so much personality!

There is a lawsuit against you for hospitalized DPC'ers from intense spasmodic laughing injuries. I am going to significantly upscale your average by insisting you accept a score of 10 for originality.A brilliant humourous concept. Technical performance is basically up to snuff. If a magic wand could be waved I would personally like the following for my 8ftX10ft mural version: The worm emerging a la vertical pose from mother dirt against simulated puffy cloud sky. Handy dandy mirror for that one. The white background is just too clinical for me. ( Nightmares of high school science lab and all that). And perhaps a squirt of water aerosol to freshen up her complexion. I do like the specular highlights on the victim though. Could I have just a hint more texture? Perhaps a slightly lower light angle to bring out those drop dead gorgeous laugh lines (OK wormy wrinkles). This is a premium idea that has delightful hidden charms and many more interesting possibilities worth pursuing. Thank you for such an enjoyable image...6

This is too cute, too cool, too creative, and too well done. But it makes me want to give you a 4, instead of the 8 I want to give you. PTL
