 My Rebel, as meager as it is, does not work. Until I get it fixed or buy a new camera, I will use my crappy P and S Fuji, that is until I run out of money for batteries.

Would've been nice to see more separation between the black phone and the man's jacket. But the image tells a story, which is good.

Before looking at the title, I thought the bottle/glass was the subject of this photo, given the prominence of those two items as well as the focal point is more on the foreground. Also, the telephone is lost in the blackness of the man's coat.

Great portrayal of waiting for the dreaded phonecall of bad news. Sitting in the dark, drowning your sorrows, trying not to let the dread get the best of you. Super depiction of a well chosen username!

I like the idea, it does suit the username. Lighting is a bit flat though and I don't personally like the selective blur.
