Greetings from the Critique Club :)
Hi MotoCycleBoi...
This is a nice shot for a wedding album. I can't really offer you much 'critique' on a shot of this nature, because you are not in control of the total environment. There are some elements of this photo that could be better obviously, but without total control, they would not be possible. One of the most difficult issues of shooting outside is keeping the model's eyes from sqinting. It doesn't look like you were working in sunlight, which is good, but maybe the light behind you is bright enough to make the people squint their eyes. The wind could also be contributing to that as well...
Weddings would be fun to shoot.. keep up the good work :)

I like the way the bride's veil is lifted by the wind, looks as if you caught just the right little puff of breeze, nice capture and crop |

Beautiful wedding shot. The veil flowing in the wind and the offset of the couple really make it. Excellent job! |

Lovely movement of the vail. The light was kind of flat, but the composition and dynamics are great. And of course, it's a great subject for the challenge. |

The whole group of 9 participants loved the wedding theme. Al loves the veil blowing in the wind. |

This is a really nice shot. The only thing I noticed was the right side of the grooms tuxedo seems to fade into the dark shadows. |

I like this wedding shot, it could be a good idea to add some soft focus effect in it. Great composition, well done work. |

What a beautiful wedding picture. Seeing people get married always gives me hope for the future. I love the way her veil billows out. |

Maybe it's just too late for me to still be up, but has this been resized without maintaining aspect ratio?

I love this as a wedding shot. The wind-blown vail is amazing. More closeness like a kiss would have got a higher vote from me |

Great capture - is that the wind taking the veil? oh well it balances the composition fantastically - 8 |

Lovely composition. The veil especiaqlly looks nice being swept away like that. Could have moved the people slightly to the left though as the break in the foliage is distracting. |

A top-rate wedding picture. Excellent colors and composition. Though pose, it speaks a lot of hope, wishes and optimism. Congratulations to them and to you. |

This is a lovely wedding portrait. I like the way the veil sweeps out to mirror the gown's train, filling up the left side of the shot. I think the little yellow flowers speckling the grass are a subtly exquisite touch, espeically the few that pop up in front of the gown. There is also a cluster of foliage to the left that is a nice spray of texture, balancing that half of the shot. It's hard to tell but the groom doesn't appear to be looking at the camera and his tuxedo blends a bit too much into the shadows of the background. Not a big deal, but for me, it's the only thing that prevents this from being a PERFECT wedding portrait. I gave this a 7 but I'm going to up it to an 8. Good luck. |
